My take:

We already know that almost every teenager had experienced acne in their teenage and now that i am left with someacne scars. So i have been on a constant lookout for something to fade these scars.When i was suggested this product by the consultant ( Kiehls have a friendly & well-informed staff ), Since i have sensitive skin the consultant clearly told me to try out the products first and then purchase them. She was happy to oblige me with few samples to try on, and thats how i was hooked on to this brand!!

This product comespackagedin a rectangular white cardboard outer case, with product details mentioned very clearly. The serum itself is in aglassbottle, with a dropper to dispense the product. (very smartly designed!) I appreciateglass bottlesmore than plastic containers because plastic tends to leach over time but glass is inert and wouldnt react with the ingredients. The glass bottle also makes the product look Expensive.

The Lightdropperis helpful in dispensing a controlled amount of product apart from being a hygienic way of taking out the product.As little as 2 drops are sufficient to cover the whole face.Theconsistencyof the clear, transparent serum is amazing and feels weightless on the skin with amild floweryfragrance.

The serum isto be usedtwo times daily all over face right after cleansing & toning. It should be used before any moisturiseror concentrated serum for maximal absorption on the skin. But right after applying this i make sure i applysunscreen of SPF 50 plus. But i highly recommend to always apply sunscreen when using corrective dark spot solution.

All in all, I did see a noticeable lightening of the scars over 1-2 weeks of use; which i think is quite good as theyclaimproper results only after 4 weeks of regular use.I have also experienced that this product is making subtle improvements to my skin.What i love about this product is how light it feels on the skin(Feels nothing at all) and how effective the Activated Vitamin C really is.

Powerful-Strength-Line Reducing Concentrate

What does Kiehl’s Claim:

How to Apply:

• Cleanse skin thoroughly prior to application
• Apply anti-wrinkle serum over entire face twice daily (avoiding the eye area)
• Can use alone or under your usual moisturizer
• In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly
• As the formula blends into the skin, you may experience a feeling of warmth. This sensation is normal.

My take:

Frankly I dont have any serious line problem except for the laugh lines. This works very well on reducing the appearance of even the finest of lines, I did notice an improvement in skin texture and skin tone.The serum comes in a cute pump bottle and I find that 1 pump is usually enough for the entire face although I sometimes use 2. The product itself pumps out a creamy off white gel like serum when it is new. The longer you use it, I found that the colour will change to have a bit of yellow tint in it. Vitamin C oxidises very quickly on contact with air, so I attribute it to that. You would be well advised to store this serum in a dark place maybe inside a drawer or cupboard and do not leave it exposed to sunlight or daylight to minimise oxidisation.

On contact with skin, I notice a slight warming sensation which is supposed to be expected as told by the person who was giving me consultation. its just a very mild warming sensation that I dont think much about. The scent is quite different. It smells like antioxidants.The serum is almost like gel formula but I like to use the palm method to make sure it gets evenly distributed on my skin. The serum feels silky and smooth and I usually pump1-2 pumps in my palm, spread it out between my palms and apply my palms to my face. I start with my cheeks, where sometimes gravity starts to take a toll and introduces lines, then I make sure it gets into my naso labial lines, and my forehead.You can follow up with your usual moisturizer thereafter which I usually do.

All in all,l I have since noticed an improvement in skin texture, where skin looks and feels smoother and I noticed that my skin looks so much more bright.
